Volga-Dnepr Airlines delivered CryoSat-2 satellite to BaikonurVolga-Dnepr Airlines' flight brought CryoSat-124 European Scientific Satellite from Munich (Germany) to Baikonur (Kazakhstan) onboard Antonov100-2-100 aircraft. The transportation was performed by the order of the European Space Agency (ESA).

Baltic Air Charter Association votes ‘Best Cargo Charter Airline of the Year 2009’Volga-Dnepr Airlines has been voted ‘Best Cargo Charter Airline of the Year 2009 by the Baltic Air Charter Association (BACA). The award was presented by Graeme Sweenie, Chief Commercial Officer of the sponsor, Infratil Airports Europe, at a special 60th Anniversary BACA Awards luncheon, which took place on 29th October at the prestigious Guildhall in London.
